I have been on this quest to lead a life that doesn’t harm nature and is less dependent on chemical-laden products. I want my action and consumption to be eco-friendly and more sustainable. So, in this quest, I keep making small changes and try to stick to them. I have tried to incorporate a lot of eco-friendly products to support this quest. I have been successful in making good choices and honestly, I have failed sometimes too. I wish to share my experiences with my readers as I feel the best way is to learn and unlearn from each other’s experiences.
In my last month’s grocery shopping I tried a new brand – “PUER.”
I have permanently switched to eco-friendly home care products like floor cleaners, toilet cleaners, cleansing sprays, however, I wasn’t confident enough to try a dishwashing gel, – but there is always a first time right. I brought PUER dishwashing gel and floor cleaner to try and viola I am super impressed! In fact, my reaction with the dishwashing gel was why was I hesitant to try a dishwashing gel earlier?
Before I share my detailed experience with the products, I would like to share a little about the brand.
About the Brand: PUER
PUER has a range of home, personal and baby care products. Their core thought is that Nature is powerful and effective products, and for products to be efficacious, strong harmful chemicals are not imperative. Nature is bountiful and provides for all the needs, we just need the right eye to figure it out. They have found cleansing agents that clean effectively and works better. They don’t have harmful chemicals that leave any kind of harmful residue. All the things which we look out for in our regular products like fragrance, germ-free, allergy-free are taken care of by PUER products too. These products are biodegradable and don’t harm our nature, and that’s so wonderful.
PUER Dish Washing Gel
- The product comes in a very convenient-to-use packaging. I personally loved the packaging.
- It’s a yellow gel liquid. I used just a little quantity and used the product directly without mixing with water and it worked well.
- The product has a citrusy lemon fragrance, which is refreshing.
- A small quantity suffices for washing a good number of utensils. We do leave our utensils for some time before we clean them because of which we have dried stains, and this product was effective in removing them. We also use a lot of oil in Indian cooking which makes our utensils oily, and our concern is to remove them effectively, this was effective there as well which was a big relief. I think I was hesitant to try new products primarily because of this but the product worked well which I feel is a huge plus for me.
- Our regular dishwashing gel often leave a white patch of chemical residue on the utensils which are harmful, but, because PUER dishwashing Gel is a naturally derived product with ECOCERT and COSMOS as its core ingredients, it is toxin-free and therefore safe.
- Lastly, the pricing is like our regular products. Getting a much better, safe, and natural product at a similar price feels amazing.
Puer Floor Cleaner
- This is a multipurpose floor cleaner that works on all kinds of flooring. Commonly, and like in my home, we have marble finish tiles and marble flooring, – and I found this product effective on both these.
- A cap full of PUER floor cleaner in half a bucket of water is good enough to mop once.
- The best part about PUER products is that they have clearly mentioned all the details on the packaging itself.
- The fragrance of PUER Floor Cleaner is mind-blowing. It smells so natural and beautiful, yet not overpowering.
- Recently, there were repairs going on at my place, it was quite a mess at home, this product was effective with all the stains too and that’s a BIG YAY for me.
- Since it has plant-based ingredients and is non-toxic it’s safe for my kiddo too.
- Again, the pricing is like regular products which doesn’t hurt your pocket.
