Gift indigenous craftsmanship to your loved ones with

With the New Year; the cycle of birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, events and so on must have already begun. We are constantly on a search for good and most importantly “unique” gifting ideas.

For those who know me; know that I take great pains in selecting gifts for my loved ones because its a gesture to show how much I care and love them. Personally, I like to explore and try out new options. Thanks to my mother, I have developed an interest in handicrafts and artwork so, when I came across this gifting website – with such distinctive artistry, needless to say, I wanted to try it asap.

My brother-in-law is getting married soon and redecorating his place so I thought why not pick some stuff which would be useful to him. I picked up a mixed array of products which he would need and gifted to him on his engagement recently.

Let’s begin with the first product I picked for him –

Parrots In Wilderness Wooden Panel Painting

Timeless Mysore Painting of two parrots sitting on a branch of a tree in wilderness depicting their friendship forever.

What stood out – The eternal craftsmanship and the vibrant colours. The piece is just as shown on the website and enhances the overall look of your walls.

Paintings are a beautiful expression of thoughts and bring in a lot of positivity, that’s my feeling. I feel owning them is a matter of pride since he was redoing the house this would make a great addition. When I was exploring the website I had an option of choosing either fine art or abstract painting by regions like Odisha, Rajasthan and Mysore. It was difficult to narrow one but I chose this as it reflects lifelong friendship and happiness. They keep on adding new artwork and designs so you are going to have a tough time selecting your favourite.

Next, I picked up some puja essentials for him. With new beginnings, its always fun to enhance the look of your temple and the essentials I picked up are required on all occasions.

Plain Brass Traditional Kalash & Sublime Rudrakshi Brass Deep

Rudrakshi Brass Deep for Puja which is 10 inches in height with a beautifully engraved bird on the top.

What stood out – The artistically engraved bird on the top gives it such an aesthetic look just enhances the overall look of the deep.

Next, I picked this Brass Kalash which has a round bottom and wide mouth just perfect for religious functions. The three brass beads at the end help to keep the Kalash stable. The height of the Kalash is 5 inches and it’s good quality heavy metal.

Last but not the least, I picked

Zari Jewellery Box

Premium design & handcrafted jewellery box with zardosi work in maroon colour and bottle green coloured beads.

What stood out – The box has ample space for bangles and jewellery pieces. The quality is impeccable and design is fabulous.

I brought this for my would be sister-in-law as I felt she would need a jewellery box to keep her stuff and this one can be kept on the dressing table and its easy to carry around as well.

These are just a few options which I picked, you can choose hampers as per festivals, paintings, handcrafted purses, home decor, terracotta articles and much more on this website.

The entire ordering process is very simple you just need to select and place the order via online or cash delivery options. There is free shipping within India and you can send it to your loved ones outside India as well with shipping charges.

And voila,

Your parcel will arrive ASAP. All articles come nicely packed to maintain quality. All products are made in India and local handicrafts. I like the idea of gifting an unparalleled piece of our rich culture and heritage.
