Khane mein we have thoda mitha and thoda spicy food we don’t always eat only sweets or only spicy food right?
Every food preparation is a mixture of ingredients not made of a single thing. So life is made up of emotions. Check your Whats App how many emoticons do you have? Even Facebook as added emoticons for a like button. We like something may be because we just like it or may be love it or maybe we are sad or angry about it.
There are multiple emotions. We are either happy or sad or angry or irritated or whatever. Emotions are our expressions at that moment or time or day. I was watching a video by Komal (details below) and it inspired me to write on this. I thank her for this.
As she rightly mentioned in her video we should know what each emotion feels like to understand life better. If we just eat sweets we won’t understand what a pani puri tastes like, similarly if we don’t know what sadness or sorrow is we won’t understand what happiness is. If we don’t climb because of the fear of falling we would never reach heights likewise, if we don’t experience different emotions we would be dull actually with the same emotion. We have different colors red, blue, pink, green but we also have black and we have white. When we put together everything it becomes a beautiful rangoli but if we just use one color it won’t be exciting.
When we feel pain, we understand victory
When we feel hurt, we understand pain
When we feel lonely, we understand crowd
When we feel sad, we know what happiness is
Just don’t categorize yourself in one bucket, explore to understand.
Even in spirituality, I was reading a chapter of Shri Sai Satcharitra.
Sai Baba says:
“Baba – How is Jnana Upadesh, i.e., imparting of realization to be effected? Destroying ignorance is Jnana. Expelling darkness means light. Destroying duality (dwaita) means non-duality (adwaita). Whenever we speak of destroying Dwaita, we speak of Adwaita. Whenever we talk of destroying darkness, we talk of light. If we have to realise the Adwaita state, the feeling of Dwaita in ourselves has to be removed. That is the realization of the Adwaita state. Who can speak of Adwaita while remaining in Dwaita? If one did, unless one gets into that state, how can one know it and realise it?”
If we know what darkness is we would know the importance of light, if we know what ignorance is then we know how knowledge can dispel ignorance.
So lets enjoy our khichdi our life 🙂 🙂
