My recent shopping spree was a bit unusual than my routine ones. Generally, I have multiple dresses and kurtas waiting on my Wishlist however, my current order was full of versatile bottom wear for women
I will be honest with you, before lockdown, I used to invest in multiple bottom wear for women and pair them up with different tops to give a new look to my outfits. However, in the last two years with restricted travel, I just stuck to 1-2 pairs of standard colours in my wardrobe. When I was surfing online for a common colour bottom I came across some great designs and options, one thing led to another I had shortlisted a few options for myself.
You have a plethora of bottom wear for women options to choose from – right from solid tones to printed patterns, embroidered designs to flowy fabrics, you are going to have a tough time selecting. There is a variety to cater to all shapes and sizes that suits your budget, meets your style, and gives utmost comfort. No one will be left complaining.
Embrace in comfort:
Whether it’s indoors or outdoors choose comfortable fabrics as per your need. From cotton pants to salwar’s, linen pants to mulmul shararas chose what suits you best. There are options in traditional designs, flattering fits and easy cuts to meet everyone’s demands.
I suggest choosing a lightweight fabric when it comes to routine wear.

Team up traditional cotton printed salwar with a solid colour kurta or something of a similar print.

Want to keep it casual check this culotte which is perfect for both indoors and outdoor. Pair it with a simple top for indoors and bright colour contrast one for the outdoors.

Dhoti pants are a rage these days and they look very classy. A high level of comfort levels makes it a great choice to wear.

Add a bit of colour with these loose fitted pants, brought one for myself these make all the running around easy in the house.
Indian Craftsmanship does the Trick:
If you are familiar with the latest trends then traditional patterns like Ajrakh, block print, tie & dye, bandhani, indigo dyeing, batik and many more art crafts, have become the first choice of many when it comes to bottom wear for women. They look graceful and come in a huge variety to choose from you can never have enough of these.
These art traditions suit all ages and body types and never go out of fashion. Mostly comes in soft fabric which is skin-friendly and soothing.

Bring in the Festive Fervour:
Chikankari has been the flavour of this season and you will see a great deal of this work in a lot of outfits these days. Especially for the festivities, it makes a perfect choice. You have shararas, leggings, and pants so many options with this work. Unlike earlier times you have great colour options suiting your palette to pick from.

You can also choose from silks to Chanderi in plain or printed designs.

For the Casual Times:
Going for a stroll or catching up with friends you have the perfect bottom wear options in high rise trousers or culottes or a simple palazzo.

These are the few options I picked up to complete my wardrobe and give a new lease of life to my topwear. These are chic, affordable and superior fabrics the one that will last me long. Do share which one you liked the most 🙂
