I need no specific reason for shopping. You may call it my hobby or love, but I enjoy both online and offline shopping. Thanks to the pandemic, offline shopping has taken a hit but nevertheless, I have explored some wonderful brands online. Recently, I had this urge to try clothes which are renowned art forms of our country. It’s been on my mind however, the lack of variety or options made me decide I shall design my own outfits.

I headed to my Mom’s favorite shopping destination – Fabcurate.

I was double-minded if I would get what I want, will the quality be up to the mark, will there be sufficient options, will it be overpriced?

All my worries were been put to an end when I explored and shopped at this fabulous online store.

Why I would recommend Fabcurate for shopping Fabrics?
  • It literally houses all kinds of fabrics and designs under one roof. I actually spent 2-3 hrs just exploring the variety of fabrics. I found I was looking for however, I was confused how much to buy because there were so many options.

What have I shopped for?

Well, I can say I went shopping across the country on one platform.

Madhubani Print:

Madhubani or Mithila painting originating from Madhubani district in Bihar after which its named depict people and their association with nature, scenes, deities, etc. I brought this wonderful pumpkin orange-colored piece from the website in Suhana Chanderi material.

Bright colors bring nature alive and I am extremely delighted when this fabric just turned out to be as shown. This was my personal favorite.

Chanderi Cotton:

I do wear synthetics; however, my choice is always cotton. Cotton is an all-rounder when it comes to comfort, suits all types of weather, and works for all.

This dual shade Pista green fabric with embroidery work is perfect for kurta for any traditional occasion or even regular wear.

Lucknowi Work:

Chickankari or Lucknowi art is popular among many. The simple and precise embroidery weaved on the fabric brings out magic. Generally, worn in pastel shades, it’s an evergreen choice that never goes out of fashion.

Look at this lemon-yellow fabric with all the work, after getting stitched this is going to give a royal feel. Less than Rs. 500 per meter this is a steal buy.

Bandhani Work:

This piece of artwork brings brightness to any dull day. With tie & dye roaring the fashion scenes, our Indian handicraft of Bandhani stands out. Bright color combinations bring life to any outfit.

Jacquard Pattern:

This is a simple cotton jacquard pattern in red color. Simple yet so elegant this piece really stands out. The cotton is so soft I am in love with the fabric and color.

I hope you liked my selections and if you are looking to curate your clothing then do check the Fabcurate collection.
