#Antalyadiaries – Land Of Legends (Theme Park)

Advertisements

Post the spectacular Duden waterfalls and archaic view of the old city at Antalya we ended the day with the office function for which we had actually travelled to the place.

All set for the function

The day ended on a great note with hubby receiving an appreciation for his work, interacting with his team members and witnessing the folk dances of Antalya.

Yayyy!!!

The next day was kind of the last day at Antalya and we all were looking forward to this destination – Land Of Legends, its a theme park and we had whole 4 – 5 hrs to enjoy here. Its a place where people of all age groups end up having a good time. Its a place where one can unwind and relax at leisure.

We were welcomed by the king of the jungle at the entry of the park. He was lazing around in his hut in the sun and then even had a good swim :).  There was a 10 mins 3D show for entertainment. The park also few penguins which have been kept well and you can see them swim as they have created a kind of natural habitat for them.

The Dolphin show is an eyecatcher which is for 30 min and you must catch your best seat to rejoice in the complete experience.

Enjoying the 3D show

Having a good time with all these shows we wore our swim gear and were ready to enjoy the chilly water and the rides in the park not before clicking some awesome pictures.

Since it was winter time, the first time we entered the waters we almost froze but it was an exciting adventure for us. There are water rides for all age groups including group ones like lazy river ride.

Time just flew by when we were there and we lived up in fun every moment we were there. The park houses some shopping areas and food courts so all the stuff you need is at your disposal.

We ended the visit with the most memorable moment – Underwater Mystic Walk. Yes, something which I am very proud of. It was a paid thing but we wanted to have that experience once. So we opted for it and did all the formalities. Under the water, it was a 15 min walk wherein you could feed the fish and see the different fishes and sharks kept in neighbouring pools through a glass barrier.

I got a bit nervous when I was about to go down and actually was about to give up. Thanks to hubby dear he pushed me to overcome my fear and give it a try and trust me it was worth it.  The only regret I have is that I could not click pictures of it. I don’t know if I would ever do scuba diving but I can proudly say that at least once I have been under water and it’s wonderful.

Our time was up and we finally changed back and headed to our hotel back.
