Must have Saree Blouses for the Upcoming Festive Season

The festive season is in bloom with many festivals already being celebrated and more upcoming. It’s time to remove my sarees from hiding and get them ready to be flaunted in these festivities. I love my traditional wear however, with a toddler at home, a lot of it has taken a backseat and only sees the light during family functions or festival times.

During the marriage, I told both my mother and mother-in-law that the sarees you are giving are for a lifetime, and I don’t intend to buy more. I did not completely stick to the ground as I made a few additions but it’s okay right? ๐Ÿ™‚

For the festivities this time, I thought why not give a twist to my existing sarees by buying some readymade blouses? Without much ado, I headed to my favourite shopping destination when it comes to fabrics – Fabcurate.

If you wish to know why Fabcurate is my first choice when it comes to fabrics it’s because under one roof you can find all kinds of fabrics and their quality is impeccable. They have an array of options to choose from even when it comes to blouses. It was difficult to shortlist my purchases. Also, you can get customised blouses as per your size and padded/non-padded options.

What have I shopped for?

Floral Printed Cotton Blouse

First on my list was yellow coloured blouse with floral handblock work in pink. Cotton is comfortable and breathable fabric in all seasons.

The floral handblock pattern has a traditional yet contemporary vibe. Pairing with a sky blue saree or a pink one this would just enhance your look. The square neck is simple and easy to carry look for any occassion.

Rainbow Printed Blouse

This rainbow hued blouse caught my attention in first instance. This was something which was never tried by me. The multiple colour option gives me a choice to style this blouse with multiple sarees.

This is the first full sleeves blouse which I own, its a bit unique style for me but I am excited to try this this Ganpati. Matches perfectly with the rainy season and to add brightness to any occassion.

Zari Booti Jacquard Banarasi Silk Blouse

I will be honest this was the safest bet in my purchase. A banarasi blouse is a must-have in all wardrobes and never goes wrong with any saree.

There were other colour option in this however, I chose red because you can never go wrong with it. You always have silk sarees in your wardrobe so this type I feel is a must have. Also, this style and pattern never fades away.

Patola Printed Collar Blouse

Last but not the least was this digital patola print blouse in pink.

Our Indian cultural heritage is so vast and one such amazing art which in vogue these days is patola work. The print stand outs and so does the geometric designs. This one will look very chic with a contrast coloured saree.

I am excited to try all these on various festive occassions.

I hope you liked what I purchased, look forward to knowing your thoughts & suggestions. Happy Festivities!
