Wedding Shopping in current times!

A few days back I received a call from my relative saying that they have finalized the wedding of my cousin. They mentioned that they had lavish plans in mind however, if the current scenario goes on then things then rituals shall be completed in minimalist way keeping in mind the situation. They also shared that things can’t be pushed further because next whole year there is no mahurat for marriage, which is rare.

If the situation was different, I would be so excited just at the thought of visiting 10 shops to checkout various dresses for the wedding, thrills of window shopping, although I would end up buying from my favorite place because the collection there always clicks for me. However, in wake of the current situation I curbed my excitement I tried to figure out if I can even go to my favorite place to shop – Pernia’s Pop Up Shop.

You may ask me why Pernia’s Pop Up Shop?

Well it’s a one stop destination for all wedding needs. They have an awe-inspiring collection from various top designers to cater to likings of their customer base. Additionally, you can get all the wedding accessories like jewelry, clutches and shoes as well. They have in total 8 stores; 4 in Mumbai and 1 each in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and London. You can also order online on their website as they ship across the world. The whole customer experience be it offline or online is impeccable which makes you their loyal customer.

They have something to offer to everyone be it the bride or the bridesmaid or the family members, no one leaves disappointed from their shop.

Which are the top designers at Pernia’s Pop Up Shop?

Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre, Payal Singhal, Gaurav Gupta, Neeta Lulla, Nishka Lulla, Namrata Joshipura, Masaba to name a few. They have festive designer wear as well as wedding ones. You could check few selected picks from various designers here.

Is it safe to visit them in the given situation?

That’s the question which came to my mind so I had a word with their management and the they are taking multiple steps to ensure a safe visit.

They have a temperature check instrument and sanitizers, gloves and masks for clients and their staff. They sanitize their stores regularly; health checks are done at frequent basis also for the incoming customers. They are currently taking customers only with prior appointments to ensure the safety of everyone.

Also, the clothes are regularly sanitized and if you try a clothing its sanitized and kept for airing for a minimum 2 days.

Plus, they are offering the following facilities for more convenience –

  • If you purchase a garment you can get it altered for the perfect fit for a period of one year.
  • They are having “Try-On” at home service wherein you can choose the outfits which would be brought at your home by their stylist depending on the availability. Once you try and finalize on your selection you can immediately place an order to book the outfits.

Well, with this chat I knew what my next steps would be I was completely satisfied with the measures and facilities which they are maintaining, they haven’t let the situation affect the brand value which is commendable.
