Nestled high in the western ghats, Dudhsagar is one of India’s tallest waterfalls and has a milky appearance when the water cascades from a height of 600meters. Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception Church, Panjim
The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji city’s prime attraction and organizes mass every day in English, Konkani, and Portuguese. The church is constructed in a typical Portuguese Baroque style and stands tall on the hillside on the road towards Altinho, and overlooks the city of Panjim.
The church was built way back in 1541 and looks glorious when completely lit during Christmas and local feasts. It’s an important landmark of Panjim city. This church has been part of many film shoots and is very popular in Goa as it is a calm place to pray without any problem of noise.
The structure and height of the church is also great. It sits at the top of 3 flights of stairs and looks very majestic. However one needs to purchase candles from shops nearby before climbing up to this lovely church as there are no shops on top to get the candles.

Goa is gorgeous is every season! But yes it comes alive during monsoon time. The greenery is so pleasing to the eyes and mind!

I am pretty good in remembering the dates and yesterday only, I was telling my husband that 5 years back today, we left for Goa to experience the monsoons. I agree with all the spots mentioned here, however beaches also make a romantic spot to be at during the rains 🙂
