Dubai – The man made wonder

Advertisements
Dubai the land which harbours the tallest building currently on earth is a man-made wonder I would say.
Dessert in nature with still blue waters is what Dubai looks like. If a man has true will he can grow plants even in harsh sands, Dubai is a perfect example for that.
On the way…
You will find a lot of Indians residing there. Close to 70% of the income comes from Tourism.
Our 3-day visit was quite memorable.
Since we reached around noon time. We refreshed ourselves and took a stroll in Meena Bazar which is a local market wherein you find shops which has spices, clothes and everyday stuff. After having some lunch we took a city detour wherein we saw the Dubai Museum. You will see how it all began from a barren land to the current state.
Enroute the guide gave us a lot of information about the place. We took a small stopover near the sea near Atlantis Hotel for some pictures.
We have a lot of our Bollywood stars who own properties there in the Palm Jumeira side. They have reclaimed the land and created man-made islands.
Post the tour we went to see the Dubai Fountain showIt’s is a perfect mix of music, colour and feels like someone is trying to say a story. Just enjoy the sight.
We had our dinner on the Royal Carribean cruise rideAlready tired from the travel and tour we retired for the day post-dinner.
The next day we skipped the water park and explored the local markets for some spices. Dubai is a famous spice hub. In case people interested in buying Gold then Gold Souk is their destination.
The evening was reserved for the Desert Safari in the sand dunes which was simply amazing! You have a stopover wherein they have magic shows and belly dancing with some traditional food, it’s fun.
On the second last day, we went to the Mosque and Ferrari World. The Mosque was huge and beautiful. Please wear headgear as the temperature outside and inside is drastically different. Wearing completely covered clothes is a must.
Next was the Ferrari world where our main aim was to sit on the world’s fastest ride. Trust me it will scare you out. It lasts for a min and you will feel every second of it. We sat twice on the ride to relive the experience. Had a good lunch post few more rides.
On the last day, we visited the Burj Khalifa and witnessed the man-made marvel.
Truly said –  they are giving us an experience at Burj Khalifa.
Within seconds you are on the 124th and 125th floor from where you can have a panoramic view of the entire city of Dubai. See how well planned the city looks. Also, there are devices which help you visualise the Burj Khalifa in the daytime, nighttime and how the city looked earlier. Feel at the top of the world by gazing outside. Please do carry your sunglasses. I can still close my eyes and see the astounding view.
I had a high temperature that day because of the moving from AC to Non AC areas and simply slept way back.
I would suggest taking a Dubai Tour package which would help you explore the place.
