Blog 128 - Mayuri Nidigallu - 2

She has been born and brought up in Bombay and now lives in Bangalore where she relocated 3 years ago. Sirimiri – A Lifestyle Blogazine where you can find my Creative Writing, Reviews, Recipes and Travelogues written by her.

In the past she has been a monthly columnist for Magazines like Complete Wellbeing/The Eclectic/Seventeen and freelanced for various other publications

Let’s know more about her journey…

I have been a Writer and a Tarot Reader for the past 13 years and I look back at both my professions with a smile. I am thankful that I do what I love and love what I do. Being my own boss, work does not feel like work at all. The bonus is no two days are the same, and I have met so many interesting people and faced so many interesting situations through both my professions.

Challenges – faced & learning’s…

No challenges as such, but when I started out as a Tarot Reader no one knew what Tarot was. I got asked the strangest of questions, like ‘can we use playing cards for Tarot ‘or if I ‘put my clients under a spell’ In fact there are still people who have the completely wrong idea about Tarot.

Goal for the next 5 years…

Planning takes the fun out of life. I love to see what surprises life unfolds before me, with while I go about doing my work and honing myself to get better and better.

Message to all the readers…

Be true to yourself. Do what you love. Help as many people as you can and at the same time never be hesitant to ask for help.  Never be ashamed to say you don’t know something and as only when you don’t know something can you learn it, and learning is the only way to grow. Drink lots of water, do your squats and smile a lot.

  1. I am impressed with her tuning with life, she surely is an inspiration . and even now I don’t know much about tarots :p may be because I don’t believe in them

    1. I think belief and meditation on tarot is important. But I am inspired by Mayuri she does so many things effectively and she is so modest.
