Let’s know more about her journey…

My journey has been amazing so far. Prior to my injury, I was living an ordinary life. However, after my injury, I have undergone a lot of ups & downs on the Wheelchair. Today, I am a woman of strong will power, working for the benefit of people with disabilities

Challenges – faced & learning’s…

There has been a lot of challenges and learnings during this period. However, the biggest challenge faced as a woman on a wheelchair is to encourage other women with disabilities to come out of their comfort zone and live their lives just like any other normal person, followed by the society that is judgemental towards them. At the same time, I learnt to boost the morale of others, by encouraging them to play Wheelchair Basketball or anything they are passionate about.

Goal for the next 5 years…

I would like to form a strong Women Team for Wheelchair Basketball and would prepare the team for Paralympics in the future by providing them with the best facilities available. Thus, further representing India and empowering women with disabilities would remain as my goal for the next 5 years.

Message to all the readers…

Sometimes things fall apart so that better things can fall together. Have faith in your abilities and keep moving.
